Northumberland Masonic Rugby Club (the WOK Smugglers) is pleased to announce the charity rugby match against a team from the Province of Durham (the Durham Barbarians). This is to be held at the Novocastrian’s RFC Ground, Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne on Saturday 30th June 2012 with a 3 pm kick off. This event is intended to be a family fun day out with daft old Masons (who should know better) trying to run around a pitch for 80 minutes (no doubt showing brotherly love to one another) all for the name of charity (with a pint of Shandy or two afterwards).

The charities concerned are Byker Masonic Hall's two chosen charities of the year, namely the Evening Chronicle's Sunshine Fund and our continuing support for the RVI’s Teenage Cancer Trust.

Please come along and give our lads a cheer (i.e. Cheer and no laughing please).

If you wish to play or help us on the day, please contact either Mick Prior (07805 629771), Frazer Hill ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
