A team of Masons from Northumberland manned a stand at this year’s Northumberland County Show.
The purpose of the stand was to engage with visitors to the show and to give them information on
Freemasonry.  The show was extremely well attended with over 28,000 visitors passing through the
gates.  Our team was able to engage with more than 300 people and quite a few more visited the
stand to pick up literature or read our display board.  A number people expressed an interest in joining
the Craft and quite a few more signed our visitor’s book leaving some very positive and encouraging
comments.

The team was also fortunate enough to meet two recipients of a TLC teddy bear who told them just how
much it meant to them to receive the bears when they were admitted to hospital.  This capped an already
enjoyable day which all in all was a big success!
