Masonic Clock Trail

Following the success of the fund raising exercise of A Gallon of Whisky Trail for the previous Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys (RMTGB) Festival in 2009 which raised a truly magnificent total of £5324, W Bro. Ken Cooper of Holmes Lodge No. 2571 is now planning for his new Masonic Clock Trail. This time he hopes to raise money for our next Festival which is for the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI) in the year 2020.

Like the previous trail, he and Bro. Phil Thornton will visit as many Lodges as possible giving priority to those Lodges (about 90) they have not yet visited. The Masonic Clock Trail was officially launched at the Chinese New Year meeting of Oriental Lodge No. 9371 on Monday 21st February 2011 in the presence of Deputy Provincial Grand Master, V W Bro. John James Craigs PGSwdB together with the Masonic Clock designer and maker, W Bro. Larry Ingham, a Past Master of Sandyford Lodge No. 6934.

A square and compasses appear on the front of the clock and on the key. On the back, a number of Masonic symbols and the Square Pavement were carefully carved. The names of the current Provincial Grand Master, Deputy Provincial Master and the Assistant Provincial Grand Masters were also engraven underneath.

Please welcome and support W Bro. Ken and Bro. Phil when they visit your Lodge with their beautiful Masonic Clock in the near future!
