The London Olympic Games 2012
Under the umbrella of increasing public awareness of the significant contribution that Freemasonry makes to the community the Metropolitan Grand Lodge want to create a programme to coincide with the Olympic Games. In this connection they are eager to identify international sports persons with Masonic connections (either Masons themselves or partners of Masons) who might be willing to support one or more of the events being considered. They are interested to contact such sporting persons and are hoping to draw on sport as a whole (including football; rugby; cricket and other sports that are not necessarily Olympic sports). We would be most grateful if you can confirm with any sports persons known in your Lodges and supply Provincial Office with names and contact details for onward transmission to London so they can be approached direct for their support.
