The information bars and links should answer most of your questions about our Lodge and about Freemasonry in general. You can also visit us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/250543258465782/ . We hope you find your visit both enjoyable and informative and we thank you for your interest.

Our Lodge meets in Wallsend Masonic Hall, Station Road, Wallsend, NE28 6RL on the fourth Thursday of each month from January to May and September to November. Consecrated on 31st October 1918, our Centenary celebrations in 2018 will be dedicated to our recent benefactor the late Worshipful Brother Ronald Malia.

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. It is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values and means different things to each of those who join. For some, it’s about making new friends and acquaintances. For others it’s about being able to help deserving causes – making a contribution to family and society. But for most, it’s an enjoyable hobby.
Members are expected to be of high moral standing and are encouraged to speak openly about Freemasonry. If you are interested in becoming a Freemason, or would like further information about our Lodge meetings and events, contact the Lodge Secretary using
using the Contact Us information button .

Our Lodge also promotes the United Grand Lodge’s Universities’ Scheme and welcomes membership enquiries from Northumbria University undergraduates, postgraduates, alumni and staff members. Click on the Universities’ Scheme information button for further details. Enquiries from persons associated with Newcastle University should be directed to Hotspur Lodge, based in Jesmond on http://www.hotspurlodge.org/Welcome.html
