he Provincial Grand Master’s Christmas and New Year Message
Christmas and New Year is traditionally a time for family and friends to get together, to catch up and to look forward in a convivial and relaxed way. Not everyone is so lucky.  As the Military Wives so ably demonstrated in the television programmes about the preparations leading up to their very moving performance at the British Legion Festival of Remembrance many, like them, will be separated from loved ones through call of duty or force of circumstance.   Christmas provides us all with an opportunity to give thanks for and celebrate our faith, our family and our friends and I hope that all Brethren in so doing will be ever mindful of the needs of others.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year.I extend a warm welcome to our Provincial website to all visitors - whether masons or non-masons interested in becoming masons or non-masons simply looking for information about masonry in general. I hope that it will provide everyone with an easy and convenient method of pursuing their research and obtaining the requisite details whilst helping to allay any public misconception that Freemasonry exists as a secret organisation with some hidden agenda operating to the detriment of society in general.

The headings displayed on this page are intended to encourage and afford access to more detailed information – the location of the headquarters of Provincial Grand Lodge and the information available therefrom, the constitution of the Provincial Executive, when and where Lodges and Chapters (an increasing number of which have their own websites linked hereto) meet; information about forthcoming, as well as past, events and celebrations; social and sporting activities; charitable activities and donations; information about other regular Orders in Masonry. In addition, the website also provides a link to the websites of the United Grand Lodge of England, other Provinces and Masonic Charities. There is, however, always room for additional material.
